“We’re here at the Third National Bank of Buzz City and as you can see behind me,” the reporter said as he gestured over his shoulder, “There is a situation developing. BCPD report receiving a 911 call reporting a hostage situation in progress as we speak inside the bank. They responded immediately, as you can see with plenty of force. S.W.A.T is here as well as negotiators but as of yet there are no reports of the situation coming under control.”
After checking his notes the reporter continued, “We have some reports that the team inside consists of at least four people and maybe five as some conflicting reports suggest that there could be one hidden amongst the hostages. This could be why there have no bold moves by police as of yet. One officer on condition of anonymity told us there were threats that if the thieves were taken out that the hidden member of their force would execute multiple hostages. Again that is purely speculation at this point. Reporting live for Action 63 News, this is Rob Coryan… Wait!”
Tense moments stretched on as the camera zoomed in on the bank’s main door. The police ram through it and then stop. Shortly most of the officers back out of the bank. Glory would walk out proudly wearing her standard once piece red and blue leotard with her red cape. Her 5’7” frame stood even or taller than most officers attending the situation. The camera then pans on Glory’s stunningly beautiful face which was framed with a simple red mask that concealed her identity and her straight golden blonde hair as she flashed a quick smile at the eager reporters closing in to get the scoop.
“This is Rob Coryan again. Glory of the Freedom Fighters and the BCPD appear to be about to speak.”
The camera zoomed in on the impromptu news conference as Glory spoke first, “Hello citizens of Buzz City. Miss Liberty and I were able to surprise the thieves and keep the hostages safe. Luckily the shots that were fired were directed at me and I easily deflected them safely away thanks to my super quick thinking and my super speed reflexes that came in handy."
“What my partner meant to say is that the thieves shot us both point blank, but fortunately those were with fake pistols and not with real bullets.”
Miss Liberty, the always levelheaded and broody super-heroine of the two, called out from behind, hands on hips. Glory’s blue eyes narrowed, and her gloss-sheened lips pouted.
“Be that as it may, but the most important thing we can all take from these senseless acts of violence is that the hostages are safe and sound...and no one got hurt or is dead on our watch all thanks to us.”
“Indeed...but our work is hardly done. Especially in NPWA where all the villainy felons and scum reside and partake in all kinds of unlawful criminal activities.”
“Then we will be there to fight them all off and deliver justice as we see fit."
The chief of police then steps forward in between the ladies with his coffee as he lazily munches on his glazed sugary donut. He then speaks with his mouth full spewing of crumbs.
“The city owes a huge debt of gratitude to these fine Freedom Fighters. Once again today they have helped us avert a potential tragedy. Also with the men we are taking into custody, we hope to gain much information about the person or people behind this operation that has terrorized our city. Thank you, ladies.”
The reporter’s face once again filled the camera, “To recap briefly…Buzz City is safe once more, and Freedom Fighters have vowed to rid every villainy scum bags in NPWA they can get their hands on. Beware NPWA. Again this is Rob Coryan for Action 63 News Signing off.”

The camera spun to a view of the sky. There were two figures zip lining towards the bank. “Ross, are you getting this? Um,” the reporter composed himself, “Again this is Rob Corvan for Action 63 News and I can personally confirm that The Freedom Fighters are now arriving at the bank. They are in now. What a magnificent display of strength, courage, and bravery from these women. My God they are zip-lining directly into the skylight of the bank! I bet they didn’t think anyone would come through there!” Silence rang out for several minutes.
“Shots fired! Again shots have been fired inside the bank! Police are rushing the door as I speak!”
